Piña Colada Pound Cake

Why not? A delicious pound cake, add toasted coconut, shredded pineapple, bake it. Then soak it with coconut rum, glaze it with a dark rum icing and more toasted coconut on top.. et voilá! Piña colada in a cake.

More Brownies (including bacon!)

Okay, okay.. it seems that the bacon brownies are more popular than anticipated. So.. here are some more. And regular brownies too, which never go out of style, or for those who think it's weird to have meat with dessert.

Banana Tarte Tatin

This dessert is very simple, yet so delicious. Simple things can be delicious. Just butter a ramekin, sugar it, fill it with banana slices, cover it with puff pastry circles, bake for 20 minutes. Done. Serve with ice cream, so good. Really. SO good!

Carrot Cake

Always tasty. Made with whole wheat flour, rum raisins, pineapple and walnuts. Topped with cream cheese icing.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

I struggle with what kind of cookie I prefer. The crunchy one, or the chewy, soft one. So, I made both. Two different recipes, and very different in flavor, but both a chocolate peanut butter cookie. Two different textures, yet both very tasty. One of each, a glass of milk.. you're set!

Mini Doughnuts

Need I explain these? Right. Fresh made doughnuts, vanilla or chocolate, 2 glazes, and multiple toppings. The choices are endless.

Almond and Poppy Seed Marbled Bundt Cake

A simple cake, yet a little different. It's a bundt cake with almond meal. Then half of the batter was put in a separate bowl and ground poppy seeds were added to it, with a little more sugar. To finish it off, rum glaze was poured on top.

Macaroon Teacake

Made with browned butter, almond meal and whole wheat flour. Half the batch has sweetened coconut folded in, the other half has cocoa powder and bittersweet chocolate chunks folded in. The cake is very moist because of the almond meal, and is glazed with amaretto glaze.
